Drone Roof Inspections
A drone roof inspection, also known as a drone roof survey, provides a fully detailed 4K aerial view of hard-to-reach areas, including tiles, ridges, hips, valleys, flashing, chimneys, and flat roofs. This is a paid service, booked separately, priced in advance, and not included within our standard free roofing quotations.

See the Full Picture Without Leaving the Ground
Ground-level checks only reveal part of a roof. With 4K drone technology, we inspect tiles, ridges, hips, valleys, flashing, chimney details, and flat roof areas in close detail. This is especially valuable for high, steep, or fragile roofs where access is limited. It gives a clearer basis for identifying issues and deciding if further access is required. As a visual inspection, concealed problems beneath the roof covering may still require a hands-on assessment.

We provide paid drone roof inspections for homeowners, landlords, and businesses across Reading, Basingstoke, Southampton, Guildford, Slough, Portsmouth, Wokingham, Farnborough, Aldershot, and the wider Berkshire, Hampshire, and Surrey areas. Share the property address along with what you need checked, and we will confirm suitability for a drone survey and provide a fixed cost before booking. Any required works identified during the inspection are quoted separately under our roof repairs, chimney, flat roofing, or new roof services.

Drone Roof Inspections Explained Clearly
Get clear answers about drone roof inspections, what they reveal, how accurate they are, and when they are the right choice for your property.
Is a drone roof inspection safe for my property?
Yes. Drone inspections are completely non-invasive, meaning no one needs to walk on your roof. This removes the risk of accidental damage while also improving safety during the inspection process.
What kind of problems can a drone detect?
A drone can identify visible issues such as cracked or missing tiles, damaged flashing, blocked gutters, standing water, and general wear. Thermal imaging can also highlight areas of possible moisture or leaks beneath the surface.
Is a drone inspection as accurate as a manual inspection?
Drone inspections provide excellent visual coverage of the entire roof, often better than a standard walkover. However, they focus on surface-level issues, and in some cases, a hands-on inspection may still be required to confirm hidden problems.
What is a drone roof inspection?
A drone roof inspection uses high-resolution aerial imagery to assess the visible condition of your roof without needing direct access. It captures detailed photos of damage, wear, drainage issues, and hard-to-reach areas quickly and safely.
